The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a scheme on skills development based higher education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with multiple exits at Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and B.Voc.
Hospitality and Tourism Skills also cater to all the sub sectors of the Industry, namely, Hotels, Tour Operators, Food Service Restaurants, Facilities Management and Cruise Liners etc. The hospitality and tourism industry offers a great variety of business opportunities. It is a global industry where the students get accustomed to working in an international environment. Heightened demand for services has a growing emphasis on comfort, convenience, and personalized attention. All these factors increase the need for professionals who can manage hospitality operations and lead teams of people.
