Master Trainer – Trainer “Chef / Food & Beverage” with option as Project Manager

Your profile

  • Completed basic training as a chef EFZ and completed further training as a chef with a federal certificate. Specialist certificate or completed hotel management school
  • At least five years of professional experience as a sous-chef/kitchen chef or food & beverage manager in a 4-5 star hotel
  • Further training in Didactic Basic Module A (formerly DIK I and DIK II) with experience as a trainer or specialist teacher at a vocational school
  • Good understanding of dual vocational education and training in Switzerland
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (level B2)
  • Extremely independent working style, mentally resilient, open and flexible to change
  • Very good communication and presentation skills as well as a positive, confident demeanor
  • Responsible, persistent and a reliable contact person

Your tasks

  • Establishment of a professional kitchen team with consideration of Indian cuisine
  • Food & Beverage Management
  • Support for Indian teachers in teaching (train the trainer)
  • Further development of the modularized curriculum
  • Support in the preparation of training documents (vocational and inter-company training)
  • Methodological support for Indian subject teachers in the implementation of the teaching assignment
  • Ensuring the quality and continuity of our training standards

The Rajendra & Ursula Joshi Foundation (JCF) has set itself the goal of introducing and developing a new vocational training system in India. The basis for this is Switzerland’s proven dual vocational training model. Competent Swiss experts and trainers support a vocational university (BSDU) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The BSDU organizes training courses for various professions (polymechanics, carpenters, health professionals, hotel managers,

electricians and car mechanics) provide specialist instruction, general education and inter-company courses as part of various training programs. The BSDU works with partners from industry and trade to provide in-company training.
