The Rajendra & Ursula Joshi Bhartiya Skill Development Universität is our most important pilot project.
​In the background informations from the Swiss embassy of January 2022, our project is mentioned as follow (page 4):
​Inaugurated in April 2016, the Bharatiya Skills Development University in Jaipur, an initiative of the Switzerland based Rajendra & Ursula Joshi Foundation, offers various courses based on the Swiss dual training system. The Rajasthan legislative assembly passed a bill incorporating the BSDU in Jaipur, thereby setting up the first Skill University in India.

The second phase has started. The 30 acres plot for the new Vocational University is under construction. In the meantime we extended our existing campus with workshops and classrooms for carpenters skills, automotive skills, it networking skills, electrician skills and a second hostel.
Our main focus is on practical training based on the Swiss Dual System, which was addapted to the Indian requirements.
10 differnet professions are already running.

The project is an additional opportunity to achieve a professional future of youth in India and the support the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi "Make in India". Much more Information on our Homepage → www.ruj-bsdu.in

CHRONOLOGY

2022   Continuing with construction on Boys Hostel, Powerstation, Watertank, Roads and Servicelines
​2021   During Covid we had a longer break in the construction phase
2020   Vocational Block1 on the new Campus was inaugurated for Automotive, Electrical and RAC Schools
2019   On 1st October our founder and president Dr. Rajendra Kumar Joshi deceased with 85 years
2018   New campus BSDU is under construction, workshops for carpenter and automotive plus 2nd hostel are finished.
​2017   Approval from the Government of Rajasthan for the 1st Skill Development University in the state "BSDU"
2016   23rd April Grand Inauguration with Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Hon'ble Smt. Vasundhara Raje
2016   18th March Minister for Skill Development & Entrepr. Govt of India, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy was coming to BSDC
2016   First 4 batches of Polymechanic Baisic Courses are launched on 4th January
2015   15th June start of our first Train the Trainer course Production Technician Mechanical
2014   Start of construction polymechanic building, hostel, canteen and site office
2013   30'000 m² of land could be bought in the Special Economyc Zone of Mahindra World City (SEZ), Jaipur
2013   Markus Gmeiner joined JCF as Head of Projekt Mangagement and since January 2018 he is CEO
2011   Markus Pfenninger could be obtained for JCF as an expert in apprenticeship polymechanics
2010   Organisation of 2 Expert Training Courses in Switzerland for Electrician and Power Distribution Electrician trade
2009   Onset of program development for introductory Expert Training Courses
2008   Initiation of Swiss cooperations for Electrician and Power Distribution Electrician trade
